Soul Treats: A lighter and darker side of our own thinking processes
It all began when I started thinking of how letters were used within a word to make it a different perspective; they became Wayne-isms. And from there over the past 10 years, ever since being told time and time again that I should write a book, I’ve been gleaning and collecting other words that come to mind. The outcome of this endeavor of love has become:
Soul Treats: A Simple Shift of Perspective for your inner being.
Soul Treats was designed with the idea of how we perceive words and what thoughts are resultant in one’s mind. You see, our brains are hard wired to see things as they are. When we delve deeper into our own thoughts, only then can we understand the layers and complexities.
With this in mind, look at the word; then look deeper to fully comprehend another meaning. And if by chance you perceive something different, all well and good.
Savor the words from A thru Z – a virtual smorgasbord of delectable thinking – these acronyms are the outcome of careful consideration of specific words that can be better defined in another way.
All words have meanings, some more flavorful than others. Other times when one arrives at a particular word, it conjures up thoughts about it, be it positive or negative.
Pick out any letter of the alphabet and let it resonate within your soul; ponder, contemplate, snicker, laugh, and enjoy. This is also a spiritual alchemy: the transmutation of your thoughts into another reality. AKA acrostics. Or acronyms is you prefer.
Then challenge put forth to you, the reader, is to think up a word from your vast repotire of knowledge and break it down to the basic components. Should it be a negative sounding word, the quest and question becomes: How can you put a positive spin on it, thus making it more palatable?
That is the challenge and the opportunity; think about it and submit your word to our website…….www (haven’t worked out that detail yet). You will receive literary credit, where credit is due you for your submission in future publications.
Caveat emptor – some may even inflame your soul; take heed and be aware, not beware.
